Ben Wareing specialises in sustainable development, urban design and affordability. He has been working since 2008, with significant experience in housing and education.
In 2018, he led Team Montreal to first place in the architecture competition at the Solar Decathlon in China, developing a Net Zero energy urban housing typology based on passive house and prefabrication methodologies. Between 2014 and 2019, Ben was a research associate at the Facility for Architectural Research in Media and Mediation (FARMM) and taught sustainable design at McGill University. He joined the L’OEUF team in January 2019, where he is currently consultant project manager for the 54 social housing demonstration project, Place Griffintown.
